Many thanks to Heather Stewart who swapped with me recently for this fabulous idea how to make a mini photo album using our clear cellophane envelopes which you probably hadn't seen tucked away on page 160 of the main catalogue & priced at $10.95 for 50 - this would be an easy way to whip up 5 albums easily. She'd hidden the join on the cover with a thick ribbon but I think a thinner ribbon would help with the opening fully of the album. If you want to see Heather's original album check out this blog post.
We created this wee album at my recent chalkboard class with the ever so fabulous & versatile Swallowtail stamp. I loved the glimmer brads on this project they certainly added the finishing touch to add some subtle sparkle.
I tried to emulate Heather's pewter embossing powder centre but I didn't like it on the black card stock - it didn't pop to me but it is a cool idea.
