Would you like to win???
a cute cat stamp & some Basic Grey paper - if so hop on over to Karin's blog for all the conditions of entry - know I have already! As they say gotta be in to win, plus she's got a great NY resolution to enter more challenges. To date I've only entered Kristina Werner & Trudi's at NZSU plus of course my SBS challenges but they are a great way to push you outside your comfort zone. I've been pleasantly surprised at the cards I've created with the challenges & find them really worthwhile.
For my overseas readers

This is just to show how beautiful & deserted the West Coast beaches off New Zealand can be - not that you'd find me swimming here. This is the Ocean Beach at Raglan which is world famous for it's surfing as it has an unusual break (left to right as opposed to the norm right to left).
We went out for the afternoon on New Year's day to get some fresh air as so muggy in town.
Yes it's summertime down under ~25oC but always very muggy - semi-tropical at this time of the year.
PS good to see my camera can take real pictures still!

Casing Janet - SBS challenge

Only a couple of official days left in this challenge (which was to case 1 of our SBS sisters), but I still hope to work my way through my sisterhood & case all eventually. Well Janet is the "official challenge setter" she lives in Niagara Falls, Canada - how groovy is that! SO I had to case her. She must be the nicest person imaginable as she's always sending us cards & bits & pieces for KReating with.
I've chosen this card to case from her blog, a word of warning Janet loves loud music. I didn't have any felt fusion flowers but just punched some out of card stock. In the States they obviously had access to similar but different DSP.
Stamp set: Embrace Life
Card stock: Ruby Red, Groovy Guava, River Rock
Ink: River Rock, Ruby Red
Other: Word window punch, spring flower bouquet punch, vintage brads
Technique: Gatefold card - click HERE to see a tutorial on SCS
