Who's the sweetest demo of them all??

Hope I'm not sounding like the evil queen here but the answer is Pauline McCardle for her lovely sweet "taste of honey" demo swap. BTW this is Pauline's idea of simple but I for one am enjoying the honey which has come from her own hives & hopefully it's keeping the winter colds away.

Stamp set:/s Bloomin' with Beauty, Best Yet (hostess level 1)
Ink: Black Stazon, Sahara Sand
Paper: Kraft, Whisper White, Vellum CS, Copper Metallics, Urban Oasis DSP
Other: Scallop Circle, 1-⅜" circle punch, 1-¼" circle punch, Kraft Taffeta ribbon

So anyone living down in the Hawkes Bay - I'd be booking Pauline up for a workshop ASAP!

Blooming Beautiful!

I've always loved my water colour crayons but WOW the effect when you use them on water colour paper is amazing. I really enjoyed painting my petunias up & think they look stunning IRL.

Stamp set: Bloomin' with Beauty
Ink: Black Stazon, River Rock, Always Artichoke
Card stock: Rose Red, Always Artichoke, Natural Ivory, Water Colour Paper
Other: Aqua painter, Water Colour Crayons (I used rose red, regal rose, bravo burgundy for the flowers, always artichoke for the leaves, creamy caramel for the pot), Dimensionals, Dazzling Diamonds glitter, sponge dauber, artichoke grosgrain ribbon

I've used a mask for the large vase to stamp lightly in River Rock around it. I've also lightly water coloured the background flower with Regal Rose very carefully as River Rock is not a water proof ink & then used a dauber to sponge the edges with River Rock.

RAK from Judy

Judy has been busy & hopefully lots more of her lovely cards will be seen on her blog as I know my sister Tracey & my mum has received one too. She's a very plucky lady who has had one bout of ovarian Ca, then she has just had gastric surgery to remove a secondary growth & is scheduled for more chemotherapy next week. I know all of US wish you a speedy recovery.

I'm very lucky as she's joined my SBS group of blogging stampers! which will be fun.

Stamp sets: Bloomin' with Beauty, Lots of Thoughts (retired SAB 2008)
Other: White embossing powder, glitter, scallop circle punch, 1-3/8" & 1-1/4" circle punches

Thank you Judy from all the Rogers gals - they're beautiful!

RAK from Pauline McCardle - Napier's best kept secret!

Stampin Up Demonstrator Pauline McCardle Napier
Well one of the greatest things about becoming a SU! demonstrator is the awesome people you get to meet. Pauline is a very special lovely person, she's talented & has a heart of gold, she is also incredibly funny and I am very privileged to have meet her! So anyone living in Napier looking for a SU demonstrator drop her a line. Also contact her directly for "how to make the card" she loves to share.

She's being spreading much joy lately firstly with a special card & a teddy bear to my friend Judy who's she's never meet but has read about on our team forum & her battles against the big C. Then yesterday a card turns up for my mum who had just been released from hospital after 2 1/2 weeks. Mum was stoked but I'm worried Pauline's raised the bar for the rest of us mere mortals!

Lucky me has been the recipient of her latest RAK - unfortunately it got a wee bit wet with this tropical storm we're all living through at the moment. And as it's not any ordinary card this will be cased for class by moi - thank you & a 1000 hugs for your warm wishes too - you're the best Pauline!!
