Double Pocket Bag - Team training part 2

I showed the girls this cute double pocket bag we made/learnt at Regional training.

There is a tutorial on SCS now that I look; which also uses Season of Joy which you can view by clicking HERE.

But we just created by taking the Holiday Harmony DSP & it's matching colours & Season of Joy & my scribbles in the notebook.

These are my scribbles:
  1. take one piece of 12x12" paper
  2. fold opposing 2 ends in at approx. 2.5cm - this is where the Stampin' Up! grid paper comes into it's own, no scoring! Also good for placing stamped messages straight on your card.
  3. fold the other 2 sides in at approx. 9 cm
  4. you now have a tube which is approx. 10cm x 25 cm - fold it in half i.e. 10cm x 12.5cm - have the seam showing on the outside at this stage
  5. from the middle fold fold back approx. 1-2 cm & then do the other side - should like a W fold
  6. adhere at the top & embellish - we made our holes with the Crop-a-dile & the jumbo eyelets
This will be great for small gifts/vouchers/money for Christmas

Yummy Summer Picnic

This designer paper is scrummy with a capital S! And such great value 12 pages of 12x12" double dipped paper for ONLY $13.95. The hardest thing was only having 10 sides to cover when we had 12 choices.

I think everyone loved their efforts at Sunday's class when we made Coaster Boxes using plain coasters, ribbons and most importantly a Crop-a-Dile which makes chomping a hole through the 4 layers a breeze - also incredible value at $64.95. SCS has a cool tutorial on how to do it (though we didn't use Mod Podge). If you'd like to know more do contact ME.
