Simple thanks

I need to make some Thank You cards & just had to case this simple but elegant card I found on the So Shelli blog created by Sara (Shelli's daughter) which I just loved.

It uses the lovely Vintage Verses which you can still earn for FREE for any order over $120 until midnight on March 22nd.

Recipe:
Stamp set: Vintage Verses (SAB 2013)
Ink: Soft Suede, Calypso Coral marker
Paper: Confetti White (retired), vellum card
Other: Elegant butterfly punch, dimensional, basic jewel

And a bit of a giggle:

I hope you don't forget as it's not to late just contact me ASAP. With 19 items to choose from this year I don't expect the market to be flooded with the stamp sets this year so if you want a set I'd be placing an order before it's too late.

Well thanks Sara for the lovely card inspiration & I sure the lucky recipients will think so too.

Quick, easy & WOW cards

Well we hope so; these were the other 3 designs my team the WOW paperKRafters taught at our Stamp-a-Stack in the weekend. We allowed 45 mins for each set of 3 cards & all ladies completed the task easily so guess they were easy & I hope a bit wow too.

From Sally Williams 3 baby cards using the SAB set Patterned Occasions (congratulations to Ann Mitchell who was the winner of our giveaway set on the day), wee saying comes from Petite Pairs & everyone made one in Pretty in Pink, Bashful Blue & Certainly Celery

From Vanita Hurbuns our masculine card of the event using By the Tide & colours were Marina Mist & Sahara Sand.

From Debbie Lamb using the SAB ab fab set of 2013 Feeling Sentimental - I received from Debbie the Pink Pirouette version, but it was also created in Certainly Celery and one version in Early Espresso - ain't the little paperclips adorable too (they're a new accessory in our Seasonal Mini).

Clicking on the word Certainly Celery takes you to Debbie's blog where she has a lot more detail about the card & it's components.

Well I think these plus my sympathy card were fabulous value ($30 for 12 cards plus pizza) so if you'd like to know when our next team event is make sure you sign up for My Monthly Newsletter . If you missed the event & would like to host a home workshop contact me directly as I am more than happy to come to you too.

Thanks for poppin' in

Only one more week to sale-a-brate

YEP Sale-a-bration finishes at midnight on the 22nd March, so I thought I'd better share some more SAB stuff before it's over - remember you earn a reward for every $120 you spend. It's also a great time to join  SU! as a demonstrator as the phenomenal starter kit gives you an extra 25% of product to get started ($356.50 for $189), it's so easy to join now - just write out your wish list, grab your IRD number & credit card & click the brown Join The Fun button on the right hand side of my blog.

Tonight's selection features the Vine Street embossing folder, Sycamore Street DSP, Madison avenue stamp set, Pretty Petites stamp set, Petite Curly punch plus some Island Indigo & Tangerine Tango satin ribbon and a Tangerine Tango button.

The punch will be in our new Annual catalogue out in July but I think the matching Pretty Petites stamp set is pretty damn cute & you only have one week more to earn it for free with an order before it is no longer available.

This really sweet thank you card was given to me by Kristine McNickle & I think a few have been re-KReated & found there ways into shopping bags.

Angela Pamela has also used the thank you card to whip up this beauty - again another really simple but effective thank you card.

Vicky-Lee Mueller (who loves punch art) has made us all individual cards - look mine has KR on it.

And Paula Reid has also made us a lovely thank you card - gosh was I spoilt in this swap.

So any questions about sale-a-bration drop me a line ASAP.

Bloomin' Marvelous Notecard Holder

This was the very cool project (but I maybe biased) that Sally Williams & myself helped Vicky-Lee Mueller with at our team's stamping extravaganza AKA as an afternoon of papercrafting with like minded ladies that involves food & door prizes - my idea of heaven.

Recipe
Stamps: Bloomin' Marvelous
Ink: Pool Party, Rich Razzleberry, Tangerine Tango
Paper: Core'dinations & smooth Pool Party, Rich Razzleberry, Island Indigo, Whisper White, Sycamore Street DSP
Other: Sycamore Street ribbon and button pack, Vine Street embossing folder, Apothecary Accents framelits, Finishing Touches edgelits, Bitty Butterfly punch, Dimensionals, Basic rhinestones, strong adhesive (Sticky Strip or equivalent), Stampin’ sanding block, Big Shot

As you can see the holder was designed to hold 4 SU! notecards & envelopes that Rachael Knight designed to co-ordinate with our project.

The Sale-a-bration exclusive items used in the 2 projects are Bloomin' Marvelous & Madison Avenue stamp sets, Sycamore Street DSP, Vine Street embossing folder, Sycamore Street ribbon and button pack. These items are only available until March 22nd & are FREE with any order greater than $120, no limits you earn one item for every $120 spent - this year we have 19 items to choose from, so we are really spoilt for choice. If you'd like to know more or would like to place an order don't hesitate to contact me.

Happiness is ...

A bigger & tidier craft room!!!

Finally the move across the hall into the bigger bedroom of my office & crafting stuff is completed & it looks so fabulous I almost want to pinch myself - I'm almost too scared to make something in case I make a mess of it.

But before I do start making a mess of the room, let me share some inspiration from my fabulous team mates of there as equally as fabulous demo swaps using the current Sale-a-bration rewards as promised.

I have to say that my favourite stamp set after receiving my swaps is Bloomin' Marvelous - set of 8 stamps;, 4 images & 4 sayings (love the font - too cute).

I love what Patrice & Narelle have done but even on Pinterest some fabulous ideas out there using this stamp set.

From Patrice Halliday-Larsen who's used our Woodgrain EF to make another white layer - I'm loving white on white, such a cool effect. The wee butterfly in this stamp set can be punched out with our new Bitty Butterfly punch which has just been released too (RRP $33.95) but Patrice has cut her's out by hand.

From Narelle Hoggard; also a very clean card with lots of white & she's also used the SAB Sycamore Street DSP & some of her SAB free ribbons - I used to twist my face up in disgust with Tangerine Tango (though it is so much better than Only Orange or whatever our retired orange was known as) but loving it with Pool Party & Lucky Limeade.

I'm sure you can see why I changed my mind as to what is the most FAB SAB set after these beautiful swaps. Did you know that the SAB stamp sets are only available to March 22nd 2013 but you can earn it for free for spending $120. Easy peasy.

Is Feeling Sentimental the favourite SAB set??

What's your favourite Sale-a-bration stamp set??  It looks like Feeling Sentimental was the early winner in my team as 19 demos swapped cards & 8/19 used this set for our swaps - after receiving my swaps I've changed my mind as to what I like the best but that'll be another post. I've already blogged my swap so here's the other  seven I received. Their names should be linked to there blogs if they have a blog.

First off was from the lovely Lisa Bullock who sent me my own special card as organiser - unfortunately she didn't send enough of the real swap for me to receive one of them but loved my own special card - many thanks Lisa. She's also used one of the SAB freebies, a Sycamore Street Tangerine Tango button on the card.

Then this card is just incredible Vivienne Jones has really made the police box look like a TARDIS flying through space. She's used Illuminate ink & the Outer Space jumbo wheel to create the galaxy & I can assure you this picture does not do the card justice - it's amazing in real life.

One of the first cards I received in the letter box (isn't receiving hand-made cards like Christmas) was from Vanita Hurbuns & I really liked her take on making it vintage with the addition of First Edition DSP & some tearing.

Isn't this a fun card from Irene Wardlaw (who doesn't seem to have a blog), she's also added some of the SAB DSP & buttons (Sycamore Street) which you can also earn for free if none of the stamp sets rock your world. Just love the colour combo - I've always said that SU! DSP is the best colour combo creator - doesn't it look bright & cheerful. The predominant colours are Tangerine Tango & Rich Razzleberry.

Then another vintage card from Delys Cram & she was very kind & snuck in a paper doily (which we have in our new Seasonal catalogue for purchase come February 1st) plus she's used Sycamore Street ribbon & the Vine Street embossing folder on the background - both of these are exclusive to SAB & you can earn them for FREE for every $120 you spend.

Then Christine Palmer (also no blog) created a geometric delight with framelits, the Chevron EF, & the Penny Farthing image. Great masculine card Christine.

Last but not least Ria Kaire (also no blog) - a fabulous brayered & masked card - love the colour combo too Ria. Real Red, Bashful Blue, Gumball Green & Sahara Sand - doesn't this make you feel you're at the seaside & the fair has just come to town. Yep I'm Feeling Sentimental with this card. She's also used the word form another SAB set Blooming Marvelous (and it really is blooming marvelous)

Well hope you enjoyed seeing all of these & we've inspired you to want your own set. Must admit that's the most fun thing about demo swaps is you all have the same stamp set & yet the cards as you can see are all so different.

For those of us in the northern aspects of NZ happy anniversary day - hope yours is going well - I am moving my craft room to a bigger room in the house & knew it was going to be mammoth so hope I don't get lost amongst it all.

Thanks for poppin' in.
