Birthday Part 1

Let the birthday celebrations begin: today is my REAL birthday & as per usual I have the day off work (as I have done ever since starting work 32 years ago). If you don't already do this let me recommend it to you.

WOW a semi-busy weekend starting on Thursday night with dinner at my girlfriend Jackie's place for one of the best roast chicken meals I've ever had, matched by Riverstone Pinot Gris - both very yummy with chocolate mud cake for dessert. We decided the success of the roast is that we let it rest before carving & it just melted in our mouths. Merci mon amie for a delightful night & the start of the celebrating!!
