Whisper White Hot Tip

Susan Joyce from across the ditch shared this great tip on saving the life of your blades when cutting Whisper White:

When cutting Whisper White cardstock.  If the card is rough on the edges when cut, place a sheet of A4 photocoping paper just underneath the card at the cutting point and the Whisper White will cut nicely and the photocoping paper will be ragged.  It also saves the life of your cutting blade.  I have tried the tip and it works beautifully, especially if you have a slightly crooked piece of card or you only need to remove a smidgen to straighten or trim.

Great tip!

  2. Thanks for the tip Karen! I am always having raggedy CS from my cutter...and I am tired of buffing it with the sanding block.

    Have a great day,
    Sam.

  4. I will definitely be trying this tip Karen - thanks for sharing. Just have to get the cutter, AND the paper out of the secret hiding place (my kids have an obsession with making 'books' lately - blades and trees are dying at an alarming rate!!)
